CID filed chargesheet in two cases against Asif, a popular vocalist in the music world of Bangladesh.
The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has filed chargesheets in these two cases against vocalist Asif Akbar for violating copyright law and keeping foreign liquor in office. The Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate's Court submitted the chargesheet yesterday.
According to the case sources, on June 7, vocalist Asif Akbar was arrested at Tejgaon Police Station's Information and Communication Technology Act case from Arb Entertainment Office in Panthapath. At this time, four bottles of illegal 'tequila' liquor were found in his office room.
A case was filed against Tejgaon Police Station on July 23 for the possession of foreign liquor without license under the law. CID Deputy Inspector General (Cyber Police). Shah Alam told the media, "As soon as we investigate the case of copyright infringement, we get alcohol in the refrigerator of Asif Akbar's office." Because of this, another drug lawsuit was filed against him for copyright infringement.
The CID investigating officer submitted the charge sheet in the Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate's Court yesterday.
