App makers are stealing information from Facebook.

If anyone is asked what is the most popular social media answer Facebook will answer in an unexpected way. Even though Facebook is so popular, its users are not able to properly provide security. Why can't the executive director answer that? Without looking into the security issue, he said some of the apps had stolen the names of the group members, the profile pictures of those associated with various activities of the group. Facebook reported this in a blog post on November 7. These apps have stolen this information for more than Facebook's supposed time. However, Facebook has assured that their activities have stopped.


 In the same post, Facebook has said that about 5 partners (app makers) are suspected of stealing information from Facebook users. Of these, 5 partners have taken information from Facebook group members in the last 3 days. However, Facebook claims they have not yet found evidence of any misuse of the stolen information. However, if they have any information, they will be asked to delete it and will confirm by deleting it.
